Emily did an amazing job supporting my wife Katelyn through the birth of our baby. Not only was she a big help keeping Katelyn comfortable and motivated during the birth, she was supportive in educating and preparing before the birth, and she even offers post birth services that were very helpful for Katelyn and our baby when I had to be back at work. As a first time mama, my husband and I were looking for someone to help take away the anxiety of the unknown and provide some guidance and support to our team. Shay did just that! After laboring at home for a few hours, she met us at the hospital and hardly left my side the whole time. I felt so supported and loved as her and my husband provided counter pressure, head massages, and hand holding as I worked through my contractions. After hours of labor with little change, we decided to go forward with Pitocin and the epidural. Again, my team rallied around me and supported me through this intense moment, and the relief and rest I was able to feel almost immediately were exactly what I needed. When it came time to push, I received so much support and guidance from my team and my doula and it was so encouraging to hear Shay's voice cheering me on as I felt physically and emotionally drained. The intensity of labor was equally matched by the intensity of love I immediately felt for my sweet baby girl. I couldn't be more grateful for the physical and mental preparation that I gained from my doula. So lucky to have a team that made this birth such a powerful and supported experience. I couldn't recommend Shay enough!💕
